Job summary

The role serves as a liaison for employees and supports key management initiatives within a complex construction environment.

Responsibilities include administering HR programs, building trusted relationships, and applying lean principles to improve HR processes, while partnering with BU leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 3+ years of related experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, operations and processes
• High integrity, confidential handling of information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational, time management and project management skills
• Familiarity with lean concepts and tools
• Able to work independently and collaborate with others
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Guide HR functions for assigned business units including recruiting, employee relations and talent management.
• Liaise with employees and support management initiatives.
• Administer HR programs, policies and procedures and respond to inquiries.
• Create a safe, neutral environment for employee engagement and BU leadership support.
• Apply lean concepts to improve HR processes and reduce waste.
• Manage talent acquisition activities from sourcing to onboarding.
• Coordinate internship programs and manage candidate pipelines.
• Support strategic staffing and mobility decisions with HR/Operations data.
• Handle relocations, housing arrangements, and vendor estimates.
• Support immigration/work authorization processes and employee discipline and investigations.
