Job summary

Marker Construction is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to lead recruitment, employee relations, and HR programs. You will partner with leaders, coordinate benefits, performance reviews, and onboarding, while maintaining HRIS data and confidential information.

The role emphasizes recruiting, talent development, and culture-building in a fast-paced construction environment in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and PM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Provide guidance to associates and leaders on HR matters and policy interpretation.
• Coordinate benefits, compensation, performance reviews, and compliance programs.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate HR records, HRIS data, and payroll support tasks.
• Support training, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Drive associate engagement and culture-building programs.
