Job summary

PBK is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to serve as the frontline for employees and managers, handling recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, compensation administration, and compliance. The role supports talent management, policy guidance, and HR system updates to drive a compliant and efficient workplace in California.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 1+ year of HR experience, with strong communication and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 1+ years HR experience, preferably in professional services environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated experience applying and interpreting human resources policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: write and place ads, source, screen, interview, offers, and background checks.
• Enhance onboarding experience for new hires including orientation.
• Interpret HR policies and advise employees and managers on processes and procedures.
• Consult HR leadership to resolve complex issues and implement improvements.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, COBRA, and handle inquiries.
• Explain and administer workers’ compensation, disability, and leave programs.
