Job summary

North American Stamping Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to oversee benefits, payroll, recruitment, and associate relations for the plant. The role involves coordinating HR policies, maintaining HRIS data, generating reports, and supporting training and development initiatives.

The position requires strong communication skills, policy knowledge, and the ability to work with management and hourly staff to maintain a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Experience in interviewing, project management, change management, and conflict management/resolution.
• Knowledge of federal, state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, ADA, EEO, HIPAA, Workers' Compensation, etc.).
• Experience with talent management including recruitment, succession planning, and associate development.
• Ability to create presentations and deliver to large groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an associate advocate in conflict or corrective action situations.
• Coach and mentor management on associate relations matters and performance management.
• Lead policy communication and education activities to ensure consistent HR practices.
• Assist payroll and benefits administration and employee inquiries.
• Coordinate recruitment processes including postings, screenings, interviews, and offers.
• Support orientation, training, and education programs and HR compliance.
• Process personnel actions and changes of status for new hires, transfers, and terminations.
• Maintain HRIS data, prepare reports and headcount analyses, and track KPI metrics.
