Job summary

Surmodics, Inc. in Horsham, PA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to drive recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations. This role partners with leaders across the US to lead talent acquisition, manage performance processes, and ensure HR compliance.

The successful candidate will own full-cycle recruitment, build internship programs, and serve as the Horsham site HR contact while fostering a positive, compliant workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience supporting multiple functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition with managers.
• Experience developing or coordinating internship programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead US recruitment efforts and partner with hiring managers to set staffing priorities.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment: postings, sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding.
• Build relationships with external recruiters, universities, and other sources.
• Develop and manage a US internship program from design to evaluation.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and HR policy interpretation.
• Maintain HR records, policies, and compliance across the US.
• Support site HR activities for the Horsham, PA office and employee engagement.
