Job summary

Valmont is seeking an HR Generalist at our Newberry, South Carolina location to provide comprehensive HR support to employees and leaders. The role emphasizes talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, and policy administration to sustain a productive, compliant workplace.

You will partner with site leadership to develop staffing plans, coach managers on performance and attendance, and manage Workday data integrity while supporting compensation, benefits, and HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of HR generalist or similar experience at a mid to large employer.
• Experience supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support to the Newberry site for employees and leaders.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including posting, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct workplace investigations with HR leadership and Legal as needed.
• Maintain Workday data integrity and support onboarding, offboarding, and policy administration.
• Support compensation, benefits, and HR program administration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
