Job summary

Valmont Group in Jasper, Tennessee is seeking an individual contributor to provide comprehensive HR support for the Operations Teams at the Jasper location. You will partner with leaders and employees to drive HR processes including employee relations, onboarding, performance management, benefits, policy implementation and compliance.

As a member of the HR team, you will implement and support HR initiatives, maintain data in HRIS, analyze workforce metrics and help manage organizational change

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR support to a team.
• Knowledge of HR policies and employment laws.
• Experience onboarding new hires and maintaining records.
• Ability to manage performance processes and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of HR advice, support and guidance to assigned departments and employees.
• Ensure timely, accurate responses to inquiries and requests from employees.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Lead employee relations initiatives and investigations when needed.
• Assist in onboarding, off-boarding, policy implementation and organizational change.
• Support HR initiatives and manage HRIS data entry and reporting.
