Job summary

Valmont Industries in Jasper, Tennessee is seeking an individual contributor in Human Resources to provide full HR support for Operations teams. You will handle employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, compensation and benefits, and HRIS data entry while collaborating with leaders and employees to drive HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with HR/generalist experience or equivalent.
• Experience with compliance and regulatory issues.
• Minimum two years of recruiting experience.
• Minimum two years of experience with a major HRIS system.
• Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours when needed.
• Strong customer service, communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of HR guidance, policies and processes to staff.
• Ensure timely, accurate responses to employee inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Lead employee relations initiatives and investigations.
• Support organizational change and onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with department leaders on HR processes and activities.
• Organize onboarding and support company events.
• Create and maintain job descriptions and HR metrics.
