Job summary

Menasha Corporation seeks an HR Generalist to administer daily HR functions, including payroll, recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, leaves of absence, and benefits enrollment.

You will use SAP, Workday, and other HRIS tools to manage payroll, status changes, attendance, and related transactions, while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and fostering open communication across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree – HR or related field.
• PHR/SHRM-CP Certification desired.
• 2 years HR experience; 2–5 years manufacturing experience; union setting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR generalist activities: recruiting, selection, onboarding, orientation, training, employee relations, payroll.
• Assist with benefits enrollment communication and wellness programs in partnership with related departments.
• Support continuous improvement to identify and close gaps in the HR function.
• Utilize SAP, Workday, TCP and other HRIS to administer payroll, status changes, leave entitlement, attendance and related transactions.
• Assist with FMLA and other leaves of absence programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws.
• Promote open door communication; be visible and available to counsel employees as required.
• Maintain professional affiliations and participate in development activities to support compliance and business objectives.
