Job summary

COLLISTER CONSTRUCTION seeks a motivated Human Resources Generalist to keep the HR department running smoothly, handling onboarding, benefits administration, and policy creation. The ideal candidate solves problems with strong verbal and written communication and is a committed team player.

This position is temporarily remote. You will support recruitment, training development, compliance with labor laws, and reporting to management, partnering with teams across the organization to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and labor laws.
• Experience as HR Generalist or similar role.
• Proficiency with MS Office, ATS, and HR databases.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and hiring processes.
• Onboard new employees.
• Create training materials and opportunities to understand HR policies.
• Administer compensation and benefits.
• Educate employees on HR topics including leaves and compensation.
• Assist in performance management tasks.
• Collect HR data and provide summaries/reports to management.
• Ensure HR processes comply with policies and labor laws.
• Ensure audits are performed correctly and on time.
• Maintain up-to-date insurance with clients and ensure subcontractors have proper insurance.
