Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance across our Wise, VA operations. This role collaborates with site leadership to drive processes that ensure a positive, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities include posting and screening candidates, coordinating background checks, onboarding, and continuing education tracking. Occasional travel and flexible hours are expected to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum of two years relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide recruitment, hiring, retention and employee relations support.
• Coordinate posting, screening and presenting candidates to hiring managers; follow up on offers and checks.
• Assist with pre-hire and post-hire background checks and verifications.
• Support onboarding and hiring processes including documentation for files.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and compliance requirements; train supervisors on processes.
• Conduct workplace investigations as needed.
• Coordinate leave administration and workers' compensation processes.
• Keep management informed of claims and status.
