Job summary

ELITE Solar is seeking an HR generalist/recruiting professional to build and manage the full hiring lifecycle for our Texas startup team. You will develop tools, coordinate onboarding, and partner on compensation, benefits, and HR policy implementation.

You will serve as the first HR point of contact, draft policies, and generate key HR reports to inform leadership decisions while ensuring compliance with federal and Texas laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR, recruiting, training, or HR generalist experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, energy, industrial operations, or a fast-growth company preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage full-cycle recruiting for early-stage hiring.
  • Develop standardized recruiting tools such as job posting templates, interview guides, candidate evaluation forms, hiring trackers, and offer process checklists.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs to help employees understand policies, safety expectations, organizational structure, benefits, and workplace culture.
  • Create and maintain onboarding materials, supervisor training resources, and employee learning records during the startup phase.
  • Support compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, and HR policy implementation as the HR function is established.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and escalate sensitive matters to HR leadership.
  • Assist with drafting and rolling out HR policies, employee handbook content, attendance rules, and leave procedures.
  • Generate recruiting, onboarding, training, turnover, and employee status reports to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure day-to-day HR activities comply with applicable federal and Texas employment laws and company standards.
  • Support cross-functional start-up projects where HR input is required, including workforce planning, organizational design, and process documentation.

  • Create and maintain foundational training calendars, onboarding materials, supervisor training resources, and employee learning records during the company’s start-up phase.
  • Support compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, and HR policy implementation as the HR function is being established.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and escalates sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leader or specialist.
  • Assist with drafting and rolling out HR policies, employee handbook content, attendance rules, leave procedures, and other core people processes.
  • Generate recruiting, onboarding, training, turnover, and employee status reports to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure day-to-day HR activities comply with applicable federal and Texas employment laws and company standards.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR, recruiting, training, or HR generalist experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, energy, industrial operations, or a fast-growth company preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification preferred.
