Job summary

Wickenburg Community Hospital is seeking an HR Generalist to handle the full HR spectrum for a designated segment. You will recruit, onboard, manage benefits, and oversee compliance while supporting employee relations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HR, a Bachelor’s in HR/Healthcare, and solid knowledge of federal/state employment laws. Proficiency with HRIS (ADP preferred) is essential. This is a full-time, on-site role in Surprise, AZ.

Qualifications

• Two+ years HR professional level experience in a generalist role.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Healthcare, or related field.
• Must possess basic knowledge of current federal and state employment law and HR policies.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills including the utmost ethics and highest integrity.
• Proficient in the use of computers and associated HRIS software.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Previous experience using ADP as an HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Recruit candidates, advertise jobs, pre-screen, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Manage onboarding processes for new hires and maintain HR/Payroll data.
• Assist with compensation data maintenance and benefits enrollment.
• Administer leaves of absence (FMLA/LOA) and compliance reporting.
• Support employee relations and respond to inquiries and vendor interactions.
