Job summary

Origin Mining Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, performance management, training, compliance, and recordkeeping. The role serves as a resource to employees and management to ensure HR policies and practices are properly implemented.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience) and 2–5 years in HR, with professional HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent work experience.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and HR-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment activities including postings, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding.
• Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding programs.
• Maintain personnel files and HR information systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Administer benefits enrollment and inquiries.
• Assist with employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
• Support performance management processes including evaluations and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and policies.
• Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and HR administration.
• Coordinate training, development, and engagement programs.
• Prepare HR reports and documentation for management review.
• Support policy development and communications throughout the organization.
• Conduct investigations and maintain related documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries on policies, benefits, and employment issues.
