Job summary

State of South Carolina seeks an HR Generalist to develop and implement HR projects aimed at attracting and retaining skilled workers. You will promote the Judicial Branch as an employer of choice through effective Classification, Compensation, and Onboarding initiatives, and collaborate with management on HR strategies.

The role supports HR functions to ensure efficient service delivery, including administering SCEIS records, salary analyses, and onboarding processes, while advising on policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 3+ years HR experience; 5+ years preferred.
• HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage HR projects from development to implementation.
• Coordinate onboarding, classification, and compensation activities.
• Advise managers on classification, compensation practices, and pay decisions.
• Maintain SCEIS records, run standard and ad hoc HR reports.
• Support HR programs, policies, and change-management initiatives.
