Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking an HR Generalist to support core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, compliance, training and benefits administration. You will ensure policy interpretation, assist investigations, and coach leaders on performance management and change initiatives.

Responsibilities include onboarding, morale programs, HRIS data integrity in Workday, and coordinating facility engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of HR experience.
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Experience with HR Payroll/Timekeeping systems.
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with policy interpretation and compliance tracking.
• Support employee relations investigations and documentation.
• Deliver training and coach supervisors on performance management.
• Interview, select and lead onboarding activities.
• Plan morale-building activities and recognition programs.
• Coordinate facility engagement activities (workshops, surveys).
• Ensure HRIS data integrity and conduct transactions in Workday.
• Support change management and continuous improvement.
