Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent with 3 years HR experience.
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, background checks, I-9s, personnel files, and employee records.
• Administer benefits and annual open enrollment.
• Support performance reviews, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Coach and advise managers on employee relations and disciplinary matters.
• Recommend improvements to HR processes, policies, and workplace practices.
• Maintain required employee and applicant documentation.
• Participate in staff meetings and support other HR initiatives as assigned.
