Job summary

Gildan is a leading apparel manufacturer seeking an HR professional to manage recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, HRIS, employee relations, and safety administration at the Salisbury facility.

The role partners with plant leadership to drive HR initiatives, oversee hourly hiring and onboarding, maintain data integrity, and support corporate and local HR goals while ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University Degree
• 5-9 years relevant HR experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Able to work in a team-based environment
• Flexibility to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Hearing and vision ability required for safety and instruction

Responsibilities

• Manage consistent administration of HR policies and practices.
• Oversee hourly hiring, onboarding, and exit procedures for the facility.
• Coordinate with leadership to address employee concerns and HR initiatives.
• Conduct investigations and coach for corrective action as needed.
• Plan and execute corporate training and engagement activities.
• Maintain data integrity in HRIS and personnel files.
• Support corporate, regional, and local HR goals and reporting.
