Job summary

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years of HR experience, with knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, FLSA and related employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and three or more years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• HR certification or additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, FLSA, EEO, and general employment law.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and project support to plant leadership and HR team.
• Performs recruiting, employee relations, compliance, HRIS maintenance and leave administration.
• Guides employees and managers on policies, procedures, and programs; ensures legal compliance.
• Oversees onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment, and exit interviews.
• Participates in safety committees and workers’ compensation documentation.
• Maintains attendance records and HRIS data integrity; assists payroll coordination.
• Assists with wage and hour compliance and related payroll coordination.
