Job summary

Transitions Healthcare Allen's Cove is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leadership with compliant HR practices at the facility. The role spans recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, compliance, and record maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, BA, Organizational Management, or related field with 1–3 years of HR experience.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coach managers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities including candidate screening and onboarding processes.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and employee relations matters.
• Assist leadership with performance management and progressive disciplinary processes.
• Manage FMLA and other applicable leave processes and documentation.
• Administer workers' compensation processes and related safety initiatives.
• Maintain OSHA records and confidential personnel/medical files.
• Support benefits administration and handle benefits-related questions.
