Job summary

Volare Health is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and partner with senior leadership across benefits, payroll, recruitment, compliance, and policy development.

Based in Kentucky, the role contributes to a positive workplace culture at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, ensuring accurate administration, confidential handling of information, and timely guidance to employees and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in healthcare HR or similar role.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong HR admin knowledge and responsibilities.
• Advanced computer and HR software skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to pass background check and reference inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR resource across front- and back-office HR support, employee engagement, benefits administration, payroll processing, recruitment, open enrollment, and other HR initiatives.
• Provide strategic input on recruitment to support growth and staffing objectives.
• Partner with SVP of HR, VP of HR, Workforce Planning, and Benefits teams for benefit programs and compliance.
• Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and morale.
• Review federal and state employment laws and compare with current policies.
• Develop, update, and implement HR policies, forms, and templates for consistency and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR team and leaders to facilitate HR processes and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee information.
• Provide responsive, professional HR guidance to employees and leaders.
