Job summary

Providence Pointe Healthcare in Paducah, Kentucky seeks an HR Generalist focused on payroll and recruitment. You will manage payroll processes, oversee full-cycle hiring, and coordinate onboarding to create a welcoming, compliant workplace.

You will build relationships with leaders, maintain accurate records in HRIS, and drive employee engagement and retention initiatives across the facility. Strong Paylocity experience is a plus in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, not required.
• 2+ years of HR, payroll, recruiting, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or high-volume workforce is a plus.
• Experience with an HRIS/payroll platform; Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with payroll and records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support facility payroll processes, including timecard review, payroll corrections, and status changes.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for facility vacancies, including postings, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment steps.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation from offer to first days.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS processes and documentation.
• Develop equity, retention, and culture-building initiatives across the facility.
• Serve as HR resource for employees and managers and escalate issues as needed.
• Support HR compliance, reporting, audits, and other HR initiatives.
