Job summary

Providence Pointe Healthcare in Paducah, KY is seeking a Human Resources Generalist - Payroll & Recruitment to support daily HR functions with a focus on payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.

This role collaborates with facility leadership to ensure accurate payroll, effective hiring, a welcoming onboarding experience, and initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred, not required.
• 2+ years of HR, payroll, recruiting or related experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience in a high-volume setting is a plus.
• Experience with an HRIS/payroll platform; Paylocity strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processes including timecard review and payroll corrections.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for facility vacancies.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain employee records and support HRIS processes.
• Develop employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
• Provide HR support to employees and managers while escalating issues.
• Support HR compliance, reporting, audits, and other initiatives.
