Job summary

ZeroTouch is a precision metrology company seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support payroll, benefits, onboarding, and HR operations in Oregon as we stand up standalone operations.

You will partner with finance and HR leadership to maintain compliant processes, manage HR data, and engage employees across multiple sites, including manufacturing and tech environments. This hands-on role values proactive problem solving and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience and education.
• Experience supporting payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR operations.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll administration and coordinate with internal and external partners for timely processing.
• Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, changes, and vendor coordination.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding and enhance the employee experience.
• Maintain employee records and HR data accuracy.
• Assist with leave administration, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Assist with HR audits, reporting, and documentation.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and events.
• Document and improve HR processes as we build standalone operations.
• Serve as a trusted resource for HR questions related to policies, payroll, and employment practices.
• Provide general administrative support across HR and office operations.
