Job summary

Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance. The role works closely with the VP of Corporate to ensure accurate HRIS data, timely payroll, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

The position focuses on maintaining employee records, guiding performance management, and handling employee relations with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Full-cycle recruiting process management.
• Oversee onboarding and new-hire paperwork completion.
• Maintain compliant I-9 records and employment eligibility.
• Develop job descriptions with hiring managers and VP of Corporate.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing and timecard resolution.
• Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and leaves.
• Provide performance management support and documentation.
• Serve as initial HR contact for employees and escalate to VP of Corporate.
