Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Avon and Bristol, CT, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support two locations in-person. You will handle onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires HR experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel between sites as needed. Payroll familiarity and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus. Competitive benefits accompany a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous Human Resources experience required.
• Payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits administration, compliance, and Workers' Compensation processes.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and new hire paperwork
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
• Administer employee benefits and insurance programs
• Manage insurance documentation and compliance certificates
• Assist with Workers' Compensation claims, reporting, and audits
• Maintain HR files and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Support employees with HR-related questions and concerns
• Perform various administrative and office support duties
• Assist with reporting, recordkeeping, and other HR-related functions
