Job summary

Arevon is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to own payroll processing in Paylocity and support employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, employee changes, transitions, offboarding, HRIS data management, and general HR administration. This role requires strong payroll processing experience and confidentiality in a growing multi-state environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years HR experience in multi-state environment.
• Hands-on Paylocity experience with payroll processing and HRIS administration.
• 5-10 years payroll processing experience including time and attendance and wage/hour considerations.
• Experience onboarding, offboarding, I-9 and E-Verify processes.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll processing in Paylocity, including payroll preparation, payroll data review, employee changes, time and attendance coordination, deductions, reimbursements, reporting, and follow-up on payroll-related issues.
• Maintain accurate employee records in Paylocity, including new hire information, personnel changes, job and compensation updates, manager changes, terminations, and other employee lifecycle transactions.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including Paylocity workflows, background checks, I-9 documentation, E-Verify processing, exit documentation, final pay coordination, and related employee communications.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, IT, and department leaders on employee transitions, payroll-impacting changes, system access updates, and timely completion of related HR tasks.
• Provide general HR administrative support, including maintaining electronic files, preparing employment letters, supporting audits, assisting with HR reporting, and responding to routine employee questions.
• Support benefits administration, HRIS workflow improvements, process documentation, and compliance-related recordkeeping.
• Support immigration administration, including tracking key dates, maintaining documentation, and coordinating employee communications.
