HR Synergy is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a consulting role based in the United States. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering strategic HR solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR Generalist roles, strong employment law knowledge, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Part-time with potential to expand to full-time as client base grows; occasional onsite client meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably with exposure to multiple industries.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and Multi-State employment laws and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Consultative mindset with ability to juggle multiple client needs.
• Client-facing or consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations.
• Evaluate and enhance clients' HR policies, procedures, and programs for compliance and efficiency.
• Identify HR needs and deliver tailored consulting solutions.
• Conduct HR audits, develop reports, and recommend improvements to workflows and systems.
• Support clients with performance management, organizational development, and change initiatives.
• Act as backup trainer for client-facing HR workshops and seminars.
• Build strong, consultative relationships with client leadership teams.
• Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

What You’ll Do:

Client Consulting & HR Strategy

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations.

What We’re Looking For

• Must reside in MA, NH, ME to meet with clients onsite when requested.
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably with exposure to multiple industries.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (Federal and Multi‑State), HR compliance, and policy development.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
• A consultative mindset with the ability to juggle multiple client needs.
