Job summary

EDI, Inc invites a Human Resources Generalist to join our Milwaukee team. You will own onboarding, payroll processing through ADP Workforce Now, and benefits administration, while maintaining confidentiality across the employee lifecycle.

You will assist with new hire orientations, benefits enrollment, COBRA, open enrollment, and HRIS reporting. Some evening events and local travel for career fairs may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 2–3 years HR experience required, preferably as HR Generalist.
• Certification (SPHR/SHRM) a plus.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Paycor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding of new employees and conduct HR orientations.
• Process payroll through ADP Workforce Now and handle 401(k) contributions.
• Enrol and manage benefits (medical, dental, vision,-life, etc.).
• Prepare COBRA notifications and offboarding tasks.
• Create reports from HRIS for compliance and audits.
• Support recruiting and prescreening activities as needed.
• Coordinate open enrollment events and HR communications.
