Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a client in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this temp/full-time role, you'll support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance while helping create a positive employee experience.

You'll work to ensure accurate HR records, manage leaves, and coordinate programs while upholding confidentiality in a fast-paced office setting. Weekly pay and benefits options are available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or related HR role preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting efforts by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified candidates.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding to create a positive employee experience.
• Manage employee leave requests, including FMLA, short-term disability, and leaves of absence.
• Handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data, including new hire setup and employee updates.
• Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, HSA enrollment, and EAP programs.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, company communications, and culture-building activities.
