Job summary

BVCAP Head Start/Early Head Start is seeking a motivated HR Generalist to support administrative and professional HR functions for about 100 employees across multiple sites in Bryan, Texas. The role emphasizes recruitment, onboarding, records management, and benefits administration within Paylocity and other HR systems.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with HRIS platforms, Excel, and HR reporting, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field
• At least two years of HR Generalist experience
• Experience in benefits, recruitment, or onboarding
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, job postings, applicant screening, and hiring processes.
• Facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, and personnel documentation.
• Assist with employee benefits administration, enrollment, and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within Paylocity and other HR systems.
• Support employee relations, leave administration, and compliance with employment regulations.
• Assist with payroll-related data verification and employee information updates.
• Track employee training, certifications, evaluations, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and workforce data for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and automation.
• Provide responsive and professional HR support to employees and supervisors across multiple locations.
