Job summary

Kforce has a client in Little Rock, AR seeking an HR Specialist/Generalist to support onboarding, payroll processing, employee relations, compliance and HR programs. The role partners with managers to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure accurate HR records.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 2+ years HR experience with payroll, and Workday familiarity. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of HR experience with direct payroll administration experience required.
• Experience with timekeeping systems, payroll processing, and HRIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, employment practices, and compliance requirements.
• Workday experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and employee relations skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute core HR processes, including onboarding, new hire orientation, exit interviews, leave administration, return-to-work programs, unemployment claims, and OSHA-related reporting
• Provide guidance to employees and supervisors regarding company policies, procedures, and HR best practices
• Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruiting and staffing initiatives
• Process and support payroll activities, maintain timekeeping systems, and ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
• Assist with employee relations matters and support an inclusive, engaged workplace culture
• Support employee engagement programs and initiatives
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist with reporting and compliance requirements
