Job summary

Greene County Medical Center in Iowa is seeking a full-time Human Resources professional to serve as onboarding champion and back-up payroll processor. You will manage HRIS records, assist with recruitment, and maintain personnel files, while delivering excellent customer service to staff Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Full-time exempt position (80 hours/2-week pay period).
• Monday-Friday work week.
• 1–3 years Human Resources experience desired.
• Proficient in MS Office; UKG-Kronos HRIS experience preferred.
• Timekeeping and back up for payroll processing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Onboarding Champion; mentor and guide new team members.
• Facilitate recruitment initiatives, job postings, offers, references, and background checks.
• Data entry, produce reports and maintain HRIS system.
• Maintain accident and injury records and personnel files.
• Maintain online learning systems and function as system administrator.
• Provide customer service by answering employee requests and questions.
• Provide administrative support with high discretion on confidential information.
