Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our corporate team at our headquarters in Hampton, Virginia. This role supports onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, compliance, performance management, and general HR operations in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 2–3 years of HR experience, proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and applicant portals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably as HR Generalist.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and standard HR practices.
• Experience with onboarding, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers on policies, benefits, and HR questions.
• Support onboarding, orientation, status changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and employee records.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and life events; coordinate with providers.
• Support leave administration, including FMLA and state/federal programs.
• Assist with employee relations, performance concerns, and policy administration.
• Help with investigations and documentation; escalate when needed.
• Support performance management and employee development processes.
• Assist in policy development, communication, and HR compliance.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and government contractor requirements.
• Assist with EEO, affirmative action, VETS-4212, EEO-1, and OFCCP reporting.
• Support SCA administration and other government contracting HR requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in HR records.
