Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as HR Generalist/Coordinator across recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, records, compliance, benefits, leave, or payroll coordination preferred.
• Working knowledge of Kronos, UKG HRIS; UKG Pro LMS experience a plus.
• Strong communication, confidentiality, and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for HR questions, policy interpretation, employee relations, and process guidance.
• Coordinate full-cycle onboarding — pre-employment requirements, I-9 verification, background and drug screens, offer letters, HRIS entry, and new-hire orientation.
• Support recruiting by posting roles, monitoring campaigns, scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate communication, and partnering with the HR team.
• Coordinate employee status changes, terminations, exit documentation, and offboarding, keeping HRIS records accurate.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and data in UKG/Kronos.
• Administer leave programs, including short- and long-term disability, PFML, leave tracking, and return-to-work coordination.
• Partner with Payroll on time and attendance, pay practices, deductions, and timekeeping within UKG/Kronos.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Maintain job descriptions, HR policies, and resources on internal systems.
• Administer UKG Pro Learning Management System activities — training records and reporting.
• Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through fair HR practices.
• Use HR technology and reporting tools, including AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency.
