Job summary

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, payroll, workers' compensation, or a related field is required.
• Experience in local government or public sector human resources is desirable.
• High School diploma is required; an associate's degree or HR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HRIS with employee data and confidential records.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and required employment documentation.
• Assist with personnel actions: hires, status changes, transfers, promotions, and separations.
• Coordinate pre-employment testing and background checks.
• Administer benefit programs and open enrollment activities.
• Coordinate ACA reporting requirements and assist with workers' compensation.
