Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an HR Generalist for its Wayne, PA assignment. This contract-to-hire role is on-site, with a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, and compensation of $35–$40/hr. You will oversee HR operations, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and leave administration.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 1+ year of HR experience, with strong employment-law knowledge and excellent communication. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 1+ year of HR management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• SHRM-CP certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Run daily HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and leave administration
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions in collaboration with department managers
• Conduct background checks and employment eligibility verifications
• Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
• Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, and compliance
• Review, track, and document compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing education
• Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations
• Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisors
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
• Maintain awareness of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies
• Support performance evaluations and may oversee daily workflow of HR staff
