Job summary

This role maintains confidential records, enforces policies, assists with performance management and training, and ensures processes meet employment laws. Strong communication and HR systems experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of progressive HR experience across multiple functions.
• Experience handling confidential records and HRIS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting, postings, screening, interviews, background checks.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding and new-hire paperwork.
• Serve as contact for policies, benefits, payroll questions, and HR processes.
• Support employee relations by gathering information and escalating concerns.
• Administer benefits programs, enrollments, and communications.
• Maintain HR data in HRIS and file systems with confidentiality.
• Support performance management cycles and training.
• Track licenses, certifications, and renewals; coordinate deadlines.
• Assist with leave administration and workers' comp coordination.
• Prepare routine HR reports and identify process improvements.
• Develop and communicate policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
• Partner with payroll, safety, and operations for a consistent employee experience.
