Zusammenfassung

Chestnut Group is seeking an HR Generalist to manage multi-state payroll via ADP Workforce Now, benefits administration, and FMLA leaves. You'll partner with Finance, carriers, and brokers to ensure accuracy and compliance while safeguarding confidential employee data.

You will support payroll reporting, tax withholding, and leave programs across NY, NJ, and CT, contributing to accurate HR records and streamlined processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years HR Generalist experience with multi-state payroll and benefits.
• BA/BS in HR, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll tax, wage-and-hour laws, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, and workers' compensation.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; Excel proficiency.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle confidential information.

Aufgaben

• Process weekly multi-state payroll and audit data for accuracy.
• Manage garnishments, deductions, and employee loans in compliance with laws.
• Administer medical/dental/vision and other benefits, and reconcile carrier invoices.
• Administer FMLA, leave programs, and ADA accommodations.
• Oversee Workers' Compensation claims and OSHA records.
• Maintain HRIS records and ensure data confidentiality.
