Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support multiple locations from Cambridge, OH. You will manage recruitment, onboard new hires, and assist with employee training while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires up to 20% travel, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and preferably PHR/HRCI certification. A collaborative team environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• PHR/HRCI certification preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site business environment.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment process and onboarding training for new hires (in-person and online via Teams).
• Assist with employee training and develop initiatives including research and conducting training programs.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
• Travel up to 20% as required.
• Improve processes with a customer-service mindset.
• Back-up HR Coordinator as needed.
