Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Jordan, MN is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to lead day-to-day people support for the manufacturing site and partner with site leadership to grow the operation.

You will own employee relations, compliance, performance management, benefits, HR administration, workforce development, onboarding and training, and help build leadership capability as the site expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Translate production and growth plans into workforce requirements
• Develop recruiting strategies for hourly skilled trades and salaried roles
• Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and career progression
• Coach supervisors on performance management and employee relations
• Support compliance, HR administration, and payroll-related activities
• Track HR metrics and support management with workforce planning
