Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Hands-on HR experience; nonprofit or mission-driven background preferred.
• Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, wage and hour rules and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment, postings, applicants, hiring and onboarding.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and supervisors.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and performance management support.
• Manage benefits, leave administration and payroll support.
• Maintain personnel records, background checks and compliance.
• Update HR policies and Employee Handbook; ensure regulatory adherence.
• Handle employee relations matters, investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Manage HRIS data, reporting and training initiatives.
• Support engagement initiatives and cultivate positive workplace culture.
