Job summary

World Food Program USA is seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle in a hybrid Washington, DC office. You will manage benefits, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HRIS data, partnering with Finance, IT, and vendors.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of HR experience with benefits administration, payroll interfaces, and Paycom proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of progressive human resources experience, including benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of employee benefit administration, payroll interfaces, HRIS data management, and applicable employment and benefits requirements.
• Proficiency with Paycom and benefit vendor systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle onboarding processes to include offer letter workflows, background checks, new hire records, I-9 and E-Verify follow-up, benefits enrollment, and cross-functional setup.
• Administer and reconcile benefits programs, enrollment, and vendor communications; ensure records accuracy.
• Maintain HRIS data, payroll deductions, organizational charts, and leave administration.
• Prepare recurring HR reports, audits, and employee communications; support compliance training.
