Job summary

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist II to support a range of HR activities, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, and records management.

This onsite role requires at least 5 years of HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS (Paycom preferred), strong communication skills, and knowledge of employment law.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Experience with HRIS or HCM (Paycom preferred).
• Fluent in Microsoft products (Teams and Zoom).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• SHRM, SPHR or PH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the organization in multiple HR areas.
• Acts as a link between management and employees; interprets policies.
• Maintains employment records and HRIS data.
• Addresses employee relations issues and grievances.
• Assists with performance review management.
• Assists with front office duties and benefits administration.
• Participates in employee recognition activities.
• Adheres to assigned work schedule.
