Job summary

MBC Talent Connections seeks a Human Resources Generalist in Lexington, KY. The role covers day-to-day HR across five offices, reporting to the Head of Human Resources, with responsibilities spanning hiring, employee relations, benefits, and compliance. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in HR or related field, at least 6 years of HR experience, and certifications (SHRM/PHR) preferred.

The position requires travel and a valid U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Organizational Psychology, or related field
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and onboarding: manage full hiring cycle and onboarding/offboarding
• Employee relations: resolve conflicts and conduct investigations
• Engagement: lead surveys and stay/exit interviews
• Payroll and benefits: oversee payroll and health/retirement plans
• Compliance: ensure adherence to employment laws and update policies
• Performance: run annual reviews and support training
• Systems and process: HRIS administrator and process improvements
• Travel: visit offices in Ohio and Texas periodically
