Job summary

Flowers Foods in Colorado is seeking an HR Generalist under the guidance of the HR Business Partner to help manage HR policies, benefits, safety, compensation, training and employee relations and to ensure compliance and quality in our operations.

You will participate in personnel administration, wage and salary administration, training, safety and employee communications while developing skills for future HRBP roles. A competitive total rewards package accompanies this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in HR management or related field.

Responsibilities

• To learn and understand the company’s human resources and employee relations policies, procedures and programs.
• Under the direction of the HRBP, assists with company-wide activities of personnel administration, wage and salary administration, management training and development, safety, benefits administration, employee communications, employee activities, staffing, legal compliance and employee relations.
• To develop skills, knowledge and experience of the Human Resources function as applied with Flowers in order to fulfill future positions of HRBP.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
