Job summary

Rise Brands seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support all HR activities in a fast-growing environment. You will handle recruiting, payroll, benefits, HRIS management, and policy updates while providing confidential, professional support across the team.

The role involves partnering with the HRBP, supporting training and store openings, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field is required or preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience is required.
• 3+ years administering HRIS software/systems; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily HR functions across brands: recruiting, hiring, benefits, performance management, and special projects.
• Maintain employment records and payroll data for events like hires, terminations, leaves, and transfers.
• Administer benefit and compensation plans including annual open enrollment.
• Maintain HRIS, improve processes, ensure data quality, and report on HR data.
• Support vendor relationships with brokers, workers' comp, unemployment, and HR system specialists.
• Handle inquiries from applicants, team members, and managers with discretion and confidentiality.
• Update HR documents, org charts, handbooks, policies, and forms.
• Schedule meetings and interviews; provide general administrative support.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism across sensitive information.
• Support talent acquisition with HRBP as needed; participate in training at location level.
• Stay current with HR laws and best practices; drive process improvements.
