Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions in a manufacturing setting. This role requires an adaptable professional who can coach, consult, and administer HR programs while helping foster a positive, inclusive workplace.

You will promote safety, advise employees and managers on HR policies, manage employee relations, assist with recruitment, training, payroll administration, benefits inquiries, and HR data analysis to drive better

Qualifications

• 4 year/Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, communicating HR policies and fostering inclusivity and trust.
• Address and resolve employee concerns with professionalism and confidentiality, including conflict resolution and investigations.
• Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and improve retention.
• Assist Talent Acquisition in recruitment processes, screening, interviewing, onboarding and orientation.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance performance.
• Support managers in implementing performance development plans aligned with objectives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, updating practices as required.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
