Job description

The Human Resources Generalist collaborates with the Sr. HRBP/Manager, Human Resources, to deliver comprehensive HR services to business leaders. They understand the business model, diagnose organizational needs, connect team capabilities, and consult on operational strategies to enhance business performance through people. The role acts as a liaison between HR Operations and hospital management, providing managers with essential information for resolution. Additionally, they partner with HR SMEs to develop training addressing leadership gaps in HR systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

  1. Guide clients in managing employee relations, including performance management, investigations, discipline, and conflict mediation, with accurate HR policy interpretation.
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, fostering an engaging and inclusive work environment.
  3. Be the primary contact between Shared Services, HR teams, and hiring managers to ensure a positive employee experience from preboarding to onboarding.
  4. Identify organizational issues, collaborate on solutions, and support the evolution toward a high-performance culture.
  5. Lead or develop HR efforts such as recognition programs, employee development, and orientation.
  6. Develop and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, staying informed on HR trends, laws, and best practices.
  7. Build effective relationships within HR, internal stakeholders, and clients at all levels.
  8. Engage with clients to understand business operations and recommend HR strategies.
  9. Partner with leadership and shared services to develop recruitment and retention strategies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Two years of experience with HR systems or in healthcare
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Experience in metrics development, process automation, analysis, or reporting

Preferred:

  • HR Certification
  • Six Sigma or Lean Certification
  • Healthcare HR experience

Pay Rate: Min - $73,300 | Max - $98,043
