Position Summary

The Sr. Human Resources Coordinator at WET is a key player in supporting our growing team and maintaining our vibrant company culture. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in HR—either through education or certification—who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with high emotional intelligence, exceptional people-connecting skills, and the ability to truly understand and resolve HR issues at their core.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Support: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to employees at all levels
  • Onboarding & Off-boarding: Coordinate and facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires and off-boarding for departing employees
  • HR Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing employee engagement events, training sessions, and team-building activities
  • Recruitment Assistance: Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with hiring logistics
  • Conflict Resolution: Help mediate and resolve workplace issues with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Reporting: Compile and analyze HR data to support decision-making and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Education/Certification: Degree or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience:5+ years of prior experience in an HR support role is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding ability to connect with people, read body language, and address underlying issues
  • Emotional Intelligence: High EQ, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with tact and empathy
  • Self-Motivation: Proven ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
